Genus Renodes is a member of Underwing, Tiger, Tussock, and Allied Moths (Family Erebidae). Like many moths in the Erebidae family, Renodes moths are nocturnal, meaning they are active during the night and often rest during the day, hiding in dark places. They are generally attracted to light sources at night and have slow, gliding flights when active.
