Melanis acroleuca, commonly known as the White-tipped Metalmark, is a striking butterfly in the family Riodinidae. It typically rests with its wings spread flat or cocked slightly. Many tropical metalmarks are known for perching on the underside of leaves, often in an upside-down orientation.
