Nyctibora Cockroach
Genus Nyctibora
Nyctibora is a genus of cockroach in the family Ectobiidae. Nyctibora cockroaches are nocturnal, which means they are active during the night and tend to hide during the day. This behavior is common among many cockroach species, as the darkness provides protection from predators. Like most cockroaches, Nyctibora species have large compound eyes and long antennae that help them navigate in low-light conditions and locate food. The antennae are highly sensitive, aiding in tactile communication and detecting environmental changes.
