Genus Panoquina is a genus of medium-sized grass skippers in the family Hesperiidae, distributed throughout the Americas from the United States and Mexico to Central and South America and the Caribbean. Members of this genus are typically slender-bodied skippers with long, pointed forewings and coloration ranging from tan and orange-brown to dark brown, often marked with pale streaks or translucent spots. They are strong, fast fliers commonly found in grasslands, marshes, coastal dunes, agricultural areas, roadsides, and tropical dry forests. Adults frequently visit flowers for nectar and are often seen flying low over grassy habitats.
