Holothuria viridiaurantia
The Holothuria viridiaurantia is a colourful tropical sea cucumber known for its green-to-orange coloration and its role as a sediment-cleaner on coral reefs and sandy bottoms. Elongated, cylindrical, and soft-bodied, typical of sea cucumbers. Commonly 15–30 cm (6–12 in) long, though size can vary. Found in the tropical eastern Pacific, including Mexico and Central America. Ingests sand and sediment. Digests organic matter, algae, and microorganisms, and xxpels cleaned sand back onto the seafloor.
