Fuscoporia is a genus of wood-decaying bracket fungi in the family Hymenochaetaceae. These fungi are polypores, meaning they produce spores from pores on the underside of their fruiting bodies. Fuscoporia species are often found on dead or dying trees and are known for causing white rot - the breakdown of lignin and cellulose in wood. Bracket-like (shelf- or hoof-shaped), often overlapping in clusters.
