Certagallia is a genus of North American leafhoppers in the family Cicadellidae, primarily belonging to the tribe Agalliini within the subfamily Megophthalminae. These small, wedge-shaped insects are typically characterized by a robust, somewhat cylindrical body and are often associated with various herbaceous plants and shrubs. Like other leafhoppers, they feed on plant sap using piercing-sucking mouthparts and are adept jumpers, utilizing rows of small spines on their hind tibiae to propel themselves when disturbed.
