Chinaia leafhoppers are small, agile insects belonging to the family Cicadellidae, known for their bright coloration and distinctive body shapes. Members of the genus Chinaia are typically slender and wedge-shaped, with well-developed hind legs adapted for powerful jumps. Like other leafhoppers, they feed on plant sap using piercing-sucking mouthparts.
