The tribe Cenchreini is a group of planthoppers within the subfamily Derbinae of the family. They are generally small, often measuring around 2.5 to 3.0 millimetres in length. While the tribe has a global distribution it is most diverse in the New World, particularly in Neotropical rainforests. Adult Cenchreini are often found associated with broadleaf monocots, including palms, while their cryptic nymphs typically live in decaying organic matter or leaf litter, where they feed on fungal mycelia.
