Amydria is a genus of small moths belonging to the family Tineidae (clothes moth) family. A defining physical feature of the genus is their "bearded" appearance, caused by long, dense hairs covering the head and middle segment of the labial palpi. The larvae of Amydria are primarily detritivores, feeding on dried plant material, decaying leaves, and forest floor debris.
