The Black Witch Moth (Ascalapha odorata) is a large, nocturnal moth native to the Americas. With a wingspan that can reach up 24 cm, it is one of the largest moths in its range. It feeds on the nectar of flowers but spends much of its time resting in hidden, dark places during the day.
