The Chloropteryx nordicaria is a delicate green moth in the family Geometridae, known for its soft, leaf-like appearance that provides excellent camouflage among foliage. Its wings are a pale to medium green, often bordered or crossed by faint white or yellowish lines that may fade with age, giving older specimens a more washed-out look. This species is typically found in forested or shrubby habitats across parts of North and Central America, where adults are active at night and attracted to light. Like other emerald moths, its slender, looping larvae feed on the leaves of various host plants.
