Rhysodesmus texicolens is a species of flat-backed millipede in the family Xystodesmidae. Like all millipedes, Rhysodesmus species have two pairs of legs per body segment, which help them move in a coordinated, wave-like motion. Rhysodesmus millipedes are detritivores, feeding on decaying organic matter such as leaves, dead wood, and other plant material.
