Description
• Curicaberis culiacan is a species of jumping spider in the family Salticidae. Like other jumping spiders, it has prominent forward-facing eyes, excellent vision, and strong legs adapted for jumping. Published records are restricted to Mexico, and the species is known from very limited specimen material. It is native to Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, and the surrounding area.
Habitat
• Its precise habitat preferences are not well documented. As a member of the huntsman spider family, it is likely to be a free-roaming hunter associated with ground cover, rocks, woody debris, or vegetation rather than a spider that builds a prey-catching web.
