The Godma Tufted-Skipper (Nisoniades godma), is a Neotropical butterfly in the Hesperiidae family and Pyrginae subfamily. This species is primarily distributed from Eastern and Southern Mexico through Central America to Costa Rica. Like other members of the Nisoniades genus, it is a small, stout-bodied butterfly that typically features dark, mottled brown wing patterns. Its larvae are known to construct specific leaf-shelters by cutting and folding the leaves of their host plants for protection during development.
