Emesis furor, commonly known as the Great Emesis, is a medium-sized metalmark butterfly in the family Riodinidae. It is one of the larger and more noticeable members of the genus Emesis, known for its intricate, fine-lined wing patterns and subtle metallic sheen. The wings are typically orange to coppery-brown, crossed by numerous thin, dark lines and bands that create a delicate, almost engraved appearance.
