Genus Caria is a genus of Neotropical metalmark butterflies in the family Riodinidae, occurring from Mexico through Central America and into South America. Members of this genus are small to medium-sized butterflies notable for their striking wing patterns, which often combine metallic spots, bands, and iridescent blue, green, orange, or reddish markings. Many species exhibit strong sexual dimorphism, with males and females differing in coloration and pattern. Species such as Caria ino are typically associated with tropical forests, forest edges, and secondary growth habitats.
