Brown Algae of Zihuatanejo

Subclass Dictyotophycidae is a subclass of brown algae within the class Phaeophyceae, comprising several orders of predominantly marine species that are widely distributed in tropical, subtropical, and temperate coastal waters. Members of this subclass exhibit considerable morphological diversity, ranging from crustose and filamentous forms to large, flattened, and highly differentiated thalli.
