Brown Algae of Zihuatanejo

Order Dictyotales is an order of brown algae within the class Phaeophyceae, consisting primarily of marine species that are widely distributed in tropical, subtropical, and warm-temperate coastal waters. Members of this order are characterized by multicellular thalli that are often flattened, ribbon-like, fan-shaped, or intricately branched, with growth occurring from specialized apical cells.
