The Julia Heliconian (Dryas iulia), often called the Julia Longwing, is a vibrant butterfly in the Nymphalidae family and the Heliconiinae subfamily. The underside is a pale brown or tan, with faint orange markings, providing camouflage when at rest. Frequently seen feeding on Mexican Sunflowers.
