The White Scrub-Hairstreak (Strymon albata) is a small butterfly in the family Lycaenida. It is a member of the hairstreak group, characterized by their tails and fine line markings on the wings. Feature one or two thin tails that resemble antennae, a common hairstreak trait used as a defense mechanism to misdirect predators.
