Genus Eurema
Genus Eurema is one of the largest and most widespread genera of sulphur butterflies in the subfamily Coliadinae of the family Pieridae, comprising more than 70 species distributed throughout tropical, subtropical, and warm temperate regions of the world. Commonly known as the grass yellows or little yellows, these butterflies are generally small and delicate, with bright yellow, lemon-yellow, or yellow-orange wings often bordered with black or brown. They are active, fluttering fliers commonly found in gardens, roadsides, grasslands, tropical dry forests, woodland edges, agricultural fields, and disturbed habitats.
