Adenocalymma is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the Bignoniaceae family. It is a large, woody vine native to tropical and subtropical regions of Central and South America. Its habitat is typically found in moist and shaded areas such as lowland forests and stream-sides. Adonocalymma has a wide range that covers most of South and Central America, ranging all the way from Mexico to Paraguay. Its flowers come in a variety of colors, such as pink, yellow, and white, and can grow up to 10 cm in diameter.
Description
• Adenocalymma inundatum is a woody climbing vine in the trumpet-creeper family (Bignoniaceae). It has compound leaves with two or three leaflets and tendrils that help it climb through surrounding vegetation. Its showy, bright yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers grow in clusters, and its fruits develop into long, woody capsules containing winged seeds. This name is treated as a synonym of Adenocalymma apurense by some current taxonomic authorities.

Habitat
• This vine grows in tropical dry forest and seasonally dry tropical woodland, including areas where the forest canopy is partly open. It can climb through shrubs and trees and is also found in secondary or disturbed forest, often on well-drained soils.
