Family Melyridae comprises the soft-winged flower beetles, a diverse family of beetles in the order Coleoptera found throughout much of the world, particularly in temperate and tropical regions. Members of this family are generally small to medium-sized beetles with relatively soft bodies, flexible wing covers, and often bright or contrasting colours such as red, yellow, orange, blue, green, or black.
