Poliaenus hesperus is a species of flat-faced longhorn beetle in the family Cerambycidae, subfamily Lamiinae. Members of this family are recognized by their elongated antennae and distinctive body shapes. Flat-faced longhorns, as their name suggests, often have a broad and somewhat flattened face. Brown with lighter patterns, such as speckles or faint bands, helping it blend with bark.
