Infraorder Cucujiformia is one of the largest and most diverse groups of beetles within the order Coleoptera, encompassing an enormous variety of species, including weevils, leaf beetles, longhorn beetles, lady beetles, and many other familiar families. Members of this infraorder are predominantly associated with plants, fungi, and decaying organic matter, and many have evolved specialized feeding habits closely linked to particular host plants or substrates.
