Dalmochrimnus is a genus of seed bugs in the family Lygaeidae, within the subfamily Lygaeinae. Members of this group are typically small to medium-sized true bugs with elongated bodies and well-developed wings, often showing contrasting patterns of red, orange, and black—a common trait in Lygaeinae that can serve as warning coloration. These bugs possess a piercing-sucking rostrum used to feed primarily on seeds and plant fluids, often from herbaceous plants. Both adults and nymphs may be found on host plants, where nymphs resemble smaller, wingless versions of the adults.
