Neortholomus is a genus of seed bugs in the family Lygaeidae, a group of true bugs that are primarily seed feeders. Primarily phytophagous, feeding on seeds, fruits, and sometimes other plant parts. They use piercing-sucking mouthparts to extract nutrients from seeds.
