These bugs typically have elongated bodies, long antennae, and muted coloration—usually shades of brown or green that help them blend into stems and foliage. Like all coreids, they feed using a piercing-sucking rostrum, extracting fluids from stems, seeds, and fruits of their host plants. Nymphs resemble adults but are wingless and often display brighter or more contrasting colors, sometimes with orange or reddish tones.
