Leptoglossus zonatus, commonly known as the Western Leaf-footed Bug, is a species of leaf-footed bug in the family Coreidae. These bugs are often recognized for the distinctive leaf-like extensions on their hind legs, which give them their common name. Like other leaf-footed bugs, Leptoglossus zonatus is a piercing-sucking insect that feeds on the sap of various plants. It prefers to feed on fruits, seeds, and flowers, particularly those of leguminous plants, such as beans, peas.
