Seen year-round in Mexico and Central America. Typicall found in dense undergrowth at the edge of woods. Identified by their dark brown upperwings with a bold white diagonal band across the upper and lower surfaces of the forewing. Adults are nectar feeders. Caterpillars found on legumes of various genera.
