-
Tribe Eudamini

Tribe Eudamini is a diverse group of long-tailed skipper butterflies in the family Hesperiidae that is especially well represented in Mexico. These butterflies are typically recognized by their streamlined bodies, rapid flight, and the elongated tail-like extensions on the hindwings of many species. Eudamini species inhabit a wide range of environments, including tropical rainforests, dry forests, cloud forests, and woodland edges, where adults often visit flowers for nectar and perch in sunny clearings.
