Chlosyne hippodrome, commonly known as the Simple Patch, is a small butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. This species is found in Mexico and parts of Central America, inhabiting open areas, forest edges, and disturbed habitats. Adults are often seen perching on low vegetation or visiting flowers, and they may also feed on moisture from soil or decaying organic matter.
