Description
• Chromolaena odorata, commonly known as Siam weed or bitter bush, is a fast-growing perennial shrub in the aster family (Asteraceae). It has branching stems, opposite triangular to ovate leaves with toothed edges, and clusters of small, fluffy flowers that are usually white to pale lavender. The leaves release a strong odour when crushed, and the plant produces small seeds with feathery bristles that aid wind dispersal.
