Ipomoea minutiflora is a small (2 cm) yellow flower belonging to the family Convolvulaceae. It is native to the tropical and subtropical regions of Central and South America, growing in moist disturbed areas and other open habitats. The flowers are pollinated by bees, butterflies and moths, and the fruits are eaten by a variety of birds. Ipomoea minutiflora is also used medicinally to treat a variety of ailments and to make dyes.
