Tabernaemontana ochoterenae is a species of large evergreen shrub native to Central America. It prefers moist, shady habitats and is found in tropical rainforests and lowland deciduous forests. Its range extends from Mexico to Panama. In traditional medicine, its bark is used to treat fever, inflammation, and other ailments. This plant has beautiful yellow flowers with five petals that are fragrant and long-lasting. Its bright green leaves are glossy and oval in shape.
