Family Erotylidae comprises the pleasing fungus beetles, a diverse family of beetles in the order Coleoptera. Members of this family are especially abundant in tropical forests but occur in a wide range of habitats across the globe. Many erotylids are medium-sized beetles with smooth, oval bodies and striking color patterns that combine black, red, orange, yellow, or white markings, making them among the most attractive beetles.
