 Members of Cerambycinae are typically characterized by elongated bodies, long antennae, and a great variety of colours, patterns, and forms. The larvae are primarily wood-borers that develop within dead, dying, or occasionally living trees and shrubs, feeding on wood, bark, or plant tissues. Adults are commonly found on flowers, logs, sap flows, and foliage, where they feed on nectar, pollen, sap, bark, or leaves.
