Genus Omolabus is a group of leaf-rolling weevils in the family Attelabidae, occurring primarily in the tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas. Like other attelabid weevils, Omolabus species are small to medium-sized beetles characterized by a compact body, a short to moderately elongated snout, and often striking coloration that may include metallic green, blue, red, bronze, or black hues. Females are known for their remarkable reproductive behaviour: they cut, fold, and roll leaves into protective structures known as leaf rolls, within which they deposit their eggs.
