Genus Pantomorus is a genus of broad-nosed weevils in the family Curculionidae and subfamily Entiminae. These beetles are native to the Americas and are especially diverse in Central and South America, although some species have spread to other regions through human commerce. Pantomorus weevils are generally small to medium-sized, with stout, oval bodies and a short, broad rostrum typical of broad-nosed weevils. Their bodies are usually covered with scales or fine hairs that produce mottled gray, brown, tan, or greenish coloration, helping them blend into foliage and bark. Adults are nocturnal herbivores that feed on the leaves of a wide variety of plants, while the larvae live in the soil and feed on roots.
